Grant Amount: The grant is up to £15,000 or 75% of the installation cost (whichever is lower).

A subsidy of £350 is available for each charger port installed.

A subsidy of £500 is available for each parking space reserved for future charger installation (only wiring and other infrastructure needs to be laid).

Eligibility Requirements: Businesses must carry out infrastructure work for at least five parking spaces and install at least one charger.

This means that if a business chooses to install a DC fast charger (such as a 50kW charger), as long as it is on the OZEV approved list and the installer meets the requirements, it can also apply for the WCS or EV Infrastructure Grant. These subsidies are designed to reduce the initial installation costs for businesses and individuals, encourage greater investment in charging infrastructure, and thus accelerate the UK's transition to zero-emission transportation. Subsidy Amount: Each workplace can receive a subsidy for the installation of up to 14 charging points, with each charging point receiving a subsidy of £350, for a maximum of £5,000 per workplace.
