EV Indonesia 2024

EV Indonesia 2024 is back with its 3rd edition, and in a grander scale. The exhibition will held concurrently with INAPA 2024, ASEAN’s largest trade show for the automotive industry. The show will be taking place from 15 – 17 May 2024 at Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran, Jakarta – Indonesia. EV Indonesia 2024 showcases the latest trends and technologies for electric vehicle manufacturing solutions including batteries, electric power trains, components, IT systems, materials, equipment and services. This event is being held a year after GEM Indonesia hosted EV Indonesia 2023.

The Indonesian government is aggressively encouraging the national automotive industry to develop electric vehicles. The reason is  the trend of future vehicles steering towards the concept of saving energy and being environmentally friendly. The government will be subsidising the purchase of electric vehicles with the aim of reaching 2.5million EV users by 2025, and reducing air pollution by 29% by 2030.

By 2035, the Indonesian Ministry of Industry targets the production of one million four-wheeled or more and 3.22 million two-wheeled vehicles. This is a commitment from the government to reduce the carbon emissions and achieve the Net Zero Emission target by 2060.

EV Indonesia 2024 is an exhibition that focuses on Electric  Vehicles, Technologies, Component and EV Manufacturing Solutions. It will also present opportunities to feature the latest trends and technologies for EV manufacturing solutions including battery, electrical power trains, components, IT systems, material, equipment and services. The expo ensures that the right national and international players exhibit their technology and products to the right audience, which are manufacturers, owners, operators, consultants, governments, distributors, traders, and others related with the EV industry.
